Patch "Chirp"This patch was inspired by Natalia Chernovas 1993 rug Flight, which is currently part of Robert Walkers collection in the USA. We discovered it with the help of Chernihiv based designer Olha Razanova, who kindly lent us a book on local folk arts from the regional library. Today, the village of Dihtri in the Chernihiv regionformerly part of the Poltava Governoratewas once a major center of rug making, complete with its own school and workshops. This
